William Swoveland, Jr.
September 1, 1933 — December 11, 2014
William Swoveland, Jr. passed from this life Thursday December 11, 2014 at the age of 81. He is a Korean and Vietnam War Veteran, and a Purple Heart recipient for combat related wounds. William is a Lifetime Member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Member of Vietnam Veterans Memorial Foundation and several other military organizations. He is also a member of Shearer Hills Baptist Church.
Mr. Swoveland is survived by his wife Deanna; Children, Terry & Joann Swoveland, Sheryl & Rex Parrish, Billie & Paul Floyd, Mary Barlow-Swoveland, Judy & Randy Parrish, Doug & Debbie Swoveland, foreign exchange daughters: Yoshiko and Manabu Ohkado and Sandra and Carlos Lange; 3 brothers and two sisters; 16 grand-children and 8 great-grandchildren.
