Victoria (Vicky) Moreno, a beloved wife, mother, yaya (grandma), sister, and aunt, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on September 2, 1951, in Uvalde, Texas, to the late Mariano and Clemencia Pargas. Vicky’s remarkable life was characterized by her unwavering love and dedication to her family, and her strong faith.
Vicky cherished her family deeply and is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Albert Moreno. Together, they created a strong, close knit family unit. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Amanda Eiden, her husband Jordan Eiden, and found great joy in being a GREAT YAYA to her grandson Gunner and granddaughter Hayden. Their laughter and love filled her life with happiness and pride. Vicky’s other passions included dancing, baking, cooking, and of course shopping.
A proud sister, Vicky is remembered fondly by her siblings: Sylvia Muñoz, Sally Zamora, Rosario Ruiz, her brothers Mariano Pargas Jr. wife Frances Pargas, Joe Pargas, as well as countless nieces and nephews. The bonds of family were always a central aspect of her life, and she cherished the moments spent with her loved ones, creating memories that will live on in their hearts forever.
Vicky’s spirit was a source of strength for those around her. Her legacy of unwavering faith, love, resilience, and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew her. As we reflect on her life, we hold onto the precious memories we shared with this incredible woman, who leaves behind a legacy of kindness and an enduring impact on those fortunate enough to have known her.
A visitation service is currently being organized to honor the life and legacy of Vicky at Puente and Sons Funeral Chapels, Northeast at 14315 Judson Road San Antonio, TX 78233 on Monday, March 9th, 2026 from 9:00 - 10:15 AM concluding with a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at 11:00.
