Vincente T. Barrera went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 27th, 2025, at age of 74, born in San Antonio Texas on July 9th, 1951.
Vicente served in The United States Army, with Military Honors and fought in the Vietnam War.
Vicente will be remembered for his love of the Gospel and for being a “good and faithful servant” of God. He never questioned God’s will and never feared death. He was always ready to take the first flight out to any country God told him to go to.
For many years Vicente traveled to foreign countries, taking the Gospel to the Hindu Islamic and Buddhism Taoism countries. These countries are where II Corinthians 5:8 was always certain.
Vicente was preceded in death by his parents: Victoriano and Catarina Barrera, brother: Victoriano Barrera, sister: Rosie M. Rodriguez, father-in-law: pascual H. Campos and brother-in-law: Mauricio Riojas.
He is survived by his loving wife Maria Campos-Barrera, stepdaughter: Priscilla V. Sinevet (Regi), brother: Mike T. Barrera (Grace), sisters: Maria B. Hernandez (Tony), Aurora B. Riojas and Christina M. Rodriguez (Fred), grandchildren: Cristian, Caitlyn, Whitney and Cory.
He will be greatly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
