Thomas R. Tijerina born December 21, 1940 passed from this life on December 29, 2017 at the age of 77 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gregorio and Reyes Tijerina; brother, Rudy Tijerina; sister-in-law, Idella Tijerina; and brother-in-law, Benny Garcia. Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Beatrice Tijerina; his son, Paul (Raquel) Tijerina; and daughter, Terri T. (Joel) Urdiales; brothers, Luis Tijerina, Monico (Pat) Tijerina, Robert (Regina) Tijerina and Roy (Millie) Tijerina; sisters, Eva (Jerry) Smith, Emma (Bob) Whitt, Esther Garcia, and Rebecca (Kenny) Dickenson; his beloved grandchildren, Marcos Urdiales, Kassandra Urdiales, Mickayla Urdiales; also numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and good friends. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
