Thomas Jacob Brown

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Jacob Brown, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend who left us on August 2, 2025 at the age of 83 due to a heart attack.

He was born in Jourdanton, Texas to his father and Mother William and Aurora Brown and was raised with his 7 brothers and 2 sisters.

After he graduated from JHS he joined the United States Air Force and served his country for 4 years. He then worked as an oil field worker, a bill collector, a milk man (till he hit those cows on the highway), at Coke Cola Co. for 7 years and then VIA Metropolitan Transit as a bus operator. He retired after 25 years of service with VIA.

In 1969 he met and married the love of his life Judy. They married and had 2 children Thomas and Teresa.

His biggest joys were his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, videotaping everything and sitting in his recliner.

In addition to his wife Julia Brown and children Thomas (Michelle) Brown and Teresa (Joseph) Robledo, Thomas is survived by his Grandchildren: Joaquin Robledo, Joseph Robledo jr., Emily Brown, Justin Mendoza and close nephew Tom Starr Jr.

His quiet demeanor, generosity and love will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
