Teresa Martinez

Teresa “Terry” Martinez passed away Monday October 19, 2026. She was born in San Antonio on March 28 (year not included because “no one needs to know”).

Terry was a graduate of Edgewood High School and a small business owner and entrepreneur. Being owner and proprietor of Terry’s Friendly Spot was her most enduring endeavor. She touched the lives of many people in South Bexar County and San Antonio.

She is survived by her sons Jeffrey Stephen Johnson (Arlene), Lou Vincent and Jose Ricardo Martinez; grandchildren Dylan, Austin (Sofia) and Jake Johnson, Luna Martinez Suarez (Chris), Dionicio, Jose Ricardo, Giovanni and Mia Martinez; great grandsons Derek and Samuel Johnson.

She also leaves behind her beloved brothers and sisters Elva, Cecilia, Jennifer, Arlene, Richard and Gerald while joining siblings Gabriel, Juan, Diana, Rosemary and George.

She was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
