Listen to Obituary

My Honeymoon, Teresa Jimenez, born on September 22, 1958, in Mexico City, Mexico, departed this life on September 5, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas. She was an extraordinary individual whose vibrant spirit and compassionate heart touched all who had the privilege to know her.

For forty-three years, Teresa was a devoted and loving wife to Juan Jimenez Galindo. Together, they built a family that brought her immense joy. She is survived by her children: Gabriel Jimenez, Rocio Jimenez, Marlene (Jim) Luna, Lyzette (Lazaro IV) Flores, and Lupita Jimenez. She adored her grandchildren, Aaron, Sebastian, and Lazaro V.

Teresa's life was filled with beautiful memories, which included the delightful moments spent in the kitchen preparing wonderful meals while dancing, the cherished time spent with her family, and her profound affection for her grandchildren. She had an incredible gift for recalling little details about those around her, always thoughtful in her gestures, bringing gifts, candy, and donuts to her nurses and others whom she cared about.

Her personality sparkled through her enjoyment of church, shopping, traveling, dining out, and her beloved garden. Family and friends fondly remember watching her in her garden, gently watering her plants and flowers, while conversing with the birds, offering them special treats around their birdhouses. Teresa's positive energy and infectious smile created an atmosphere of warmth and encouragement wherever she went, a quality that will always be cherished by her loved ones.

Among her proudest accomplishments were the countless ways she complimented and uplifted those she encountered, leaving a lasting impact on their lives. Her legacy of kindness and thoughtfulness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to cross her path.

Teresa was a strong woman and resilient. She was lovingly welcomed in Heaven by her grandson, Lazaro Flores V and was at peace with a smile on her face.
