Sherman Jay Soileau

Sherman "Jay" Soileau, born August 20, 1961 in Louisiana, went to be with The Lord on Sunday June 28, 2026 in San Antonio, Tx at the age of 64. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Paul Howard Soileau and Helen Boudreaux Soileau, his sister; Toni Barrilleaux, and brother-in-law; Michael Lynn "Mickey" Barrilleaux.

Those he leaves to cherish his memory include his wife of 20 years Patricia "Patty" Levrie. Sons; Sherman "Jay" Soileau Jr. (Isabel) and Kerry Paul Soileau (Amanda). Daughters; Erika Crain and Chloe E. Montgomerry. Grandchildren; Sydney Kathleen Soileau, LoriAnn Isabel Soileau, Austin Alexander Soileau, Garrett Kale Soileau, Briar Quinn Soileau, Ellis Quade Soileau, Kolson Kade Soileau, and Chloe E. Montgomerry. Sister; Paulette "Polly" Robicheaux (Wayne). Brother; Timothy "Timmy" Soileau (Norma). Sister; Danila (She-She) Brown (Kenny and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. 

We find peace in knowing he's fishing the best waters for the biggest fish, cooking the best BBQ by his pool with his freshly cut yard and enjoying the family.

Sherman was kind, loving, and generous. Always there for family and friends. He would always light-up a room when he entered it. He had a wonderful sense of humor and the biggest heart. 

He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Family will be returning him to his Louisiana roots, where his ashes will be spread throughout the bayous, just as he wished.
