Sean Akers

Our beloved son, Sean Lynne Akers was born in Danville, Illinois on April 17, 1978; and tragically left us on October 26, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas.

Loved and missed by his parents Charles and Teresa Akers, his brother Matthew (Jessica) Akers, nephew Connor and niece Abigail. Also feeling the loss are his Aunts Geneva Winkler of Florida, Rowena Cady of New Mexico and Uncle Paul Winkler of Texas.

Sean graduated from MacArthur High School, 1996. He resided in New Braunfels and worked for HEB for twenty-six years. His passion for racing and football were a shared interest with family and friends alike. He collected Monopoly games and would play with his competitive aunts until the "wee" hours of the morning.
