She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Andres Reyes, whose memory brought her joy throughout her life. Janie was also predeceased by her parents, Jesus and Josefina Garcia, her sister Josefina Guzman, and her brothers, Pedro Garcia, Santiago Garcia, and Jesus Garcia, all of whom she held dear in her heart.
