Ruben Vera Alvarez, Sr.

Ruben Vera Alvarez, Sr. born August 24, 1937 passed from this life on December 13, 2015 at the age of 78 years. Ruben is now reunited with his parents, Guadalupe and Gregoria Alvarez; his sons, Alberto Alvarez, Juan Alvarez; his brothers, Alberto Alvarez, Guadalupe Alvarez; and his sisters, Francisca Fabela, and Refugia De La Rosa. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Frances D. Alvarez; his beloved children, Ruben (Rachel) Alvarez, Jr., Ruben Jesse Alvarez, Irene De Leon Alvarez, and Diana Cervantez; his brothers and sisters, Gregorio Alvarez, Felix Alvarez, Esperanza Villarreal and Connie Reyes; 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Ruben was a master mechanic and had a passion for working on cars. He was a devout Christian and person of faith. He had his last bible class at his home on Wednesday. He will be missed but not forgotten.
