Ruben Reyes Jr., who was born on January 8, 1980, in San Antonio passed away on August 8, 2026.

Ruben will be remembered as a man with a generous heart and a joyful spirit. He loved to help people in need, no matter who they were, and everyone who met him knew they could depend on him for anything. Being around Ruben meant laughter was never far away. His kindness, reliability, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on the many people whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his children, Benjamin Reyes, Riann Reyes, Lauren Reyes, Leslie Reyes, Roslyn Reyes, Lindsey Reyes, Lisette Marquez, and Raven Reyes. He is also survived by his mother, Maria Teresa Reyes; his brothers, Joey Garcia and Mack Reyes; his sisters, Pearl Reyes and Mary Lina Garcia; and his grandchildren, Enicia Garza, Adalynn Sanchez, Lovelyn Sanchez, and Royce Sanchez and the mother of his children, Florainda Garcia. He will be deeply missed by his family, who carry forward the memory of his love, his laughter, and the steady support he gave so freely.

Ruben is preceded in death by his father, Ruben Reyes Sr., and by his twin brother, Rene Reyes. Their memories remained an important part of his life and will be held close by those who loved them all.

Visitation for Ruben Reyes Jr. will be held on August 28, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at South - Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels, 3520 S Flores St, San Antonio, TX 78204. A prayer service will be held the same day at 6:30 p.m. at South - Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels.

Ruben Reyes Jr. will be remembered with love, gratitude, and a smile for the laughter he brought to others. His presence will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered always.
