Following a long battle with lung disease, Richard Ken Bradford passed away July 1, 2022 at the age of 75. He grew up on the south side of San Antonio and graduated from McCollum High School in 1965. He later attended San Antonio College and began his career in banking at Bexar County National Bank, where he met his wife of 53 years, Jane Penn. During the years he was raising his family, he enjoyed spending evenings in the garage working on restoring old cars.
He ended his career at Bank of America after 33 years in the banking industry. Following his retirement, he spent many years researching family ancestry. Prior to the progression of his lung disease, he and Jane traveled to old cemeteries and courthouses to conduct deeper genealogy research.
