Reuben Pacheco, born on August 19, 1963, in San Antonio, Texas, passed away on September 7 2025. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose warmth and love touched all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Reuben dedicated numerous years of his life to Frito-Lay, retiring from the company in 2018. His commitment to his work was reflected in his character, as he balanced his professional responsibilities with a deep devotion to his family. A proud graduate of Mc Collum High School, class of 1982, Reuben carried with him the values of hard work and dedication throughout his life.

He was particularly fond of his role as "Papaw" to his two beautiful grandchildren, Dominic Burkholder and Evangeline Pacheco, who quickly became his everything. Reuben's life was filled with joy as he cherished their moments together, creating lasting memories that will be held dear.

Together with his beloved wife Yvonne, with whom he celebrated 41 years of marriage, Reuben found great pleasure in traveling and embarking on numerous cruises. They explored new places hand in hand, always creating adventures to share. Reuben also enjoyed spending time outdoors, relishing fishing and camping trips that allowed him to connect with nature and immerse himself in the tranquility it offered.

Reuben was known for his inviting nature; he welcomed everyone into his home, often gathering friends and family around a cozy fire in the backyard, where the sounds of country and classic rock music set a harmonious backdrop for celebration and camaraderie. His personality resonated warmth and kindness, ensuring that those in his presence felt loved and appreciated.

He is survived by his loving wife Yvonne Pacheco, of 41 years; sons Jonathan Pacheco and his wife Ericka, Andrew Pacheco and Michelle; daughter Stephanie Burkholder and her husband Brian; brother Daniel Pacheco and his wife Diana; sisters Grace Pacheco, Patricia Moroney and her husband Brian; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins who will remember him fondly. Gizmo and Bella were Reuben's beloved Shitzu's and they too miss him tremendously.

Reuben was preceded in death by his parents, Felix Pacheco and Esperanza DeLeon. His legacy lives on through the memories shared by his family and friends, who will undoubtedly miss him dearly.
