Rene M. Chapa, age 57 of San Antonio, TX, was called home on 6/2/2023. Rene passed away surrounded by his loving family following a battle with cancer.
He was born to parents, Reynaldo Chapa Jr and Estela Mendez Longoria on January 27, 1966.
He is preceded in death by his father, Reynaldo Chapa Jr; brother, Reynaldo Chapa III; paternal grandparents, Reynaldo and Modesta Chapa; maternal grandparents, Ramon Mendez and Guadalupe Rios.
Rene is survived by his daughters, Andrea Renee Vasquez and Renee Nicole Chapa; mother, Estela Mendez Longoria; brother, Reynaldo Chapa IV; sisters, Cynthia Chapa, Sandra Trevino, Roxanne Chapa, and Bianca Chapa; four granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service and burial interment will be a private ceremony with immediate family members only.
