Randall (Randy) Kenneth Lowe, age 53, died November 17, 2021. Originally born in Dallas, Texas, Randy lived in many distant lands including New Orleans, Louisiana, Lake Como, Italy and San Antonio, Texas. Randy was a graduate of Tulane University and had a Masters Degree in Philosophy and Mysticism from Broadway Steps University. Randy had a long career in Banking. He was a passionate hunter and social observer and commentator. Randy was also a connosieur of fine bourbons, whiskey and wines. Randy was also a champion chair rider with an unmatched ability to reach the edge of the envelope, occasionally pushing too far in challenging other pro riders such as Trey Zoeller, also a well known professional.
Randy leaves behind a sister, Cheryl Collins, and his nephews Justin and Steven Collins as well as the love of his life and fiancé Janet Stewart. Randy and Janet enjoyed many fine times and found true peace and love in their time together until the last day of his life. Randy’s many friends are extremely grateful to Janet for the comfort and care she gave Randy in his final days.
Randy leaves behind a large crew of loving friends with whom many adventures were shared. Randy, affectionately known as the Enlightened One, would generously share his wisdom and knowledge of all things with his friends. Although Randy would at times retreat to solitary study of Philosophy and Mysticism, his friends treasured the time spent around Randy. This group was a second family to Randy, one which he loved and treasured in return.
A memorial is planned for Sunday, January 16th at 7:00 PM at 1200 Broadway Ave, New Orleans, Louisiana. There, his second family will burn one down in his honor.
