Ramiro C. Esquivel Sr.

Ramiro C. Esquivel Sr. passed away on Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, at the age of 58. He worked 24 years for the Union Pacific Railroad. He is survived by his wife, Olivia A. Esquivel; children Livy E. Gonzales, Angie Esquivel, Ramiro Esquivel Jr.; grandchildren Peter Rodriguez III, Desirae C. Esquivel, Julia M. Rodriguez, Savannah C. Gonzales, Antonio J. Rodriguez and Lauren A. Gonzales; father Vincente Esquivel; aunt Josefa Campos; brothers and sisters Elida Gonzalez, Guillermo Esquivel, Leonel Esquivel, Daniel Esquivel, Irma Salinas and Noel Esquivel; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Eudelia C. Esquivel, and brother, Pablo Esquivel.Visitation is on Monday, March 2, 2009, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. A mass in his honor will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 3, 2009, at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in New Braunfels, Texas. Interment to follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
