Pauline A
Luna
May 1, 1947 — Jun 12, 2026
Pauline A Luna, a vibrant soul whose radiant spirit touched every life she encountered, departed this world on June 12, 2026, in her beloved hometown of San Antonio, Texas, where her journey began on a bright spring day, May 1, 1947. Throughout her 79 years, Pauline embodied joy and charm, steadfastly dedicating herself to the grace and beauty of life’s simple moments.
She was a woman who took immense pride in her appearance, always impeccably dressed, no matter the occasion. Whether it was a routine doctor’s appointment or a special outing, Pauline would be dolled up with a finesse that turned heads and warmed hearts. Her attention to detail in her personal presentation was not merely vanity but an extension of her spirited personality—always cheerful, brimming with laughter, and glowing with positivity, Pauline carried no bitterness or gloom within her. She loved to be around people, to share joy, to fill rooms with mirth and lightness, proving time and again that her presence was a balm for the weary.
A lover of entertainment in its most heartfelt forms, Pauline’s hobbies were windows into her soul. She delighted in watching comedy movies, those moments of laughter aligning perfectly with her own joyful nature. Music was another of her great passions—especially the sultry, captivating sounds of Sade, her favorite artist, whose melodies seemed to echo the depth and grace of Pauline’s own spirit. She also loved to dance, moving with abandon to the vibrant rhythms of cumbia, her feet and heart in perfect harmony with the music that lifted her spirit.
Pauline's departure leaves a palpable void among her living family and friends. She is lovingly remembered by her son, Nick A Luna, his wife Maria Luna; and her sisters, Francis and Sarah, whose lives she enriched with her ever-cheerful companionship and unwavering love. The foundations of her early life were grounded deeply by her late parents, Ricardo and Juanita G. Ambriz, whose memories live on in the legacy she carried forward.
Friends and family will gather to honor her memory at South - Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels in San Antonio, Texas, where a visitation will be held on June 19, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A rosary service will take place the same day from 6:30 PM, offering a final serenade of hope and remembrance before her spirit takes its celestial dance.
Pauline A Luna’s life was a tapestry woven with laughter, music, style, and an enduring zest for connection. She showed us all how to live beautifully and embrace every heartbeat with grace. Her cheerfulness and light will remain eternally imprinted upon those lucky enough to have known her.
