Paul Harry Stapper, Sr.

Paul was born on Feb 6, 1929 in San Antonio, Tx. He entered the presence of God on June 14, 2018 at age 89. He served his country well with an extensive career in the Marine Corps and Air Force earning many achievements and awards. Paul was very passionate, and his presence was evident to all. He would light up a room and make people smile with his clever sense of humor and gift of song. He loved his family and felt fortunate to make friends wherever he went. He enjoyed life! He was a musician, golfer, RV traveler, nature lover and much more. He will be greatly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Anna Mae; parents, Harold Stapper Sr. and Elizabeth; brother, Harold Stapper Jr.
Survivors include: Son, Paul Stapper and wife Debi; Daughters, Pam DiFazio and Paula Moresco, brother, Ted Stapper and wife Arlene; Grandchildren, Michael Grey, Chris Stapper and wife Erin, Eric Stapper, Tracy McClung and husband Aaron, Amy Allen and husband Samuel; great grandchildren, Emma, Caedmon, Miller, Ruby Kate, Eli, Sophie and Ander. He also had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Graveside service will be on Monday June 25, 2018 promptly at 9:15 am with full military honors at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Rev. Christopher Stapper officiating.
