Minerva Martin

Minerva (Minnie) Martin passed away on October 15, 2011 at the age of 67 surrounded by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 45 years: Michael L. Martin; son: Thomas E. Martin (Kelly); daughter: Blanca Newsome (Howard); brothers; Antonio Galvan, Jr., Jesus Galvan (Sarah); Roland Galvan (Selena), and Abelardo Galvan (Jan). She is also survived by the LOVE OF HER LIFE GRANDCHILDREN: Samantha Marie Newsome and Peyton Martin whom she was most proud of! Many nieces, nephews, extended family and wonderful friends. She was loved by all.

A gathering of friends and family will begin at 5:00 pm with a prayer service to be said at 7:00 pm on Friday October 28, 2011 at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels located at 14315 Judson Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78233 with a private burial service at Ft. Sam Houston on Monday October 31, 2011 at 10am.
