Minerva Arispe, born on September 9, 1952, in Seguin, Texas, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2026. A self-made powerhouse and dedicated entrepreneur, Minerva will be remembered as a force to be reckoned with, whose passion for her work was matched only by her devout faith and her deep love for her family.
Minerva was a loving and doting mother, leaving behind her son, John. She also cherished her role as a grandmother to Angelina and the late Savannah, who brought her immense joy and fulfillment. Her strong family bonds extended to her siblings, including sisters Sylvia (Jim), Mary (Epi), Janie, and Julie, who shared a lifetime of memories with her.
Minerva is now reunited with her husband, Jose Urbina, with whom she shared a beautiful ten-year marriage, as well as her beloved parents, Felipe and Herminia Arispe. She is also preceded in death by daughter Samantha, her granddaughter, Savannah, her brothers Johnny, Edward, Felipe, Moses, and her sister Diana.
As family and friends gather to celebrate her remarkable life, a series of services will be held at St Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church in San Antonio, TX. The visitation will take place on January 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Rosary from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM. A Mass will commence at 11:30 AM, concluding at 12:30 PM, providing an opportunity for all to reminisce about Minerva’s lasting impact on their lives.
Her legacy will live on through the love she shared and the lives she touched. Minerva Arispe’s spirit and dedication will be forever cherished, reminding us of the strength and warmth she brought to those around her.
