Michael Earl Brown

Michael Earl Brown, age 81, passed away peacefully on October 23, 2023. He was born on June 16, 1942 in San Francisco, California to Jane Ellen Bunn. He attended Los Angeles High, Class of 1960. He married his longtime friend and love, Patricia Louise Brown, on August 11th of 1962.

Master Sergeant Michael Brown's unfailing loyalty and duty to his country was exemplified by his lasting contribution of 21 years to the United States Air Force. He enjoyed duty stations at, Lackland AFB (TX), March AFB (CA), Royal Air Force (Heyford, UK) and again at Lackland AFB (TX).

Michael was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He had a special talent for organization and delivering under pressure. His commitment to excellence was demonstrated through his work and personal life.

For 38 years Michael worked as a Construction Manager for Country Home Learning Center Construction Inc in San Antonio, Texas. He had a true passion for his craft and was relentless in his pursuit of perfection.

Michael loved the sport of soccer, known affectionately by his former club players as "Mr. Soccer". He was a committed and loyal friend, always there when you needed a hand. His love and support were especially bright for his grandchildren, Ethan and Kenza.

His life was a living example that the Bible teaches us that love is a commitment. As a commitment, love is not dependent on good feelings, but rather on a consistent and courageous decision to extend oneself for the well-being of another. That commitment then produces good feelings, not the other way around.

Michael is survived by his son Christopher, daughter-in-law Denise, his grandchildren Kenza and Ethan, sister Jan, daughter-in-law Christina, in-law Carolyn, extended family at CHLC and countless friends that touched his heart and he theirs throughout the years.

Michael will be joining the love of his life Patricia and his eldest son Kenneth, who will be waiting to welcome him with open arms.
