Mary Montaño Castañeda passed from this life Thursday September 29, 2011 at the age of 85. She is survived by her husband Ventura C. Castañeda; sons, Rene T. Castañeda and his wife Yolanda Montemayor, George L. Castañeda and his wife Cynthia Serna; daughter, Kathryn L. Kotara and her husband David Kotara; sisters, Adela Swanson of Irving, TX, Ada Castle of San Antonio, TX, Aminda Cabrera of Maryville, TN; brothers, Eusebio Montaño, Jr. of Frindsville, TN, Esteban Montaño of Davis, CA, Eloy Montaño of Irving, TX; grandchildren, Gregorio Castañeda, Trudy Castañeda, Aaron Castañeda, Anthony Castañeda, Karissa Muñoz; 12 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Memorial service is Monday 11:00 a.m. October 3, 2011 at Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels-Northeast, family will be receiving friends at 10:00 a.m. Mrs. Castañeda will be cremated privately.
