Mary Ellis Tolbert
April 3, 1943 — November 14, 2010
Mary Ellis Louis Tolbert passed away November 14, 2010, at the age of 67. She was born in Grand Prairie, Texas on April 3, 1943.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Gordon Tolbert and her father Soloman Louis. She is survived by her mother Wahnetah Louis; her sons Michael Peterson (Christina), Donald Leavenworth; brother Michael Louis (Vivian); granddaughter Emily Peterson; niece Kathy Louis-Butts; nephew Kevin Louis; and many loving friends. Mary was proud of her Choctaw heritage and served as a board member of the San Antonio Pow Wow Association.
Cemetery:
Burial will take place at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery following the prayer service.
Service:
There will be a memorial service on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 11:00 A.M. 1:30 P.M., with a prayer service at 1:30 P.M.
