Mary D. Aldridge

Mary D. Aldridge, 62, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 14, 2013. She was born in Crowley, LA on May 8, 1951 to Hilda Demuchest. She is survived by her children Stephanie Aldridge, Vanessa Aldridge and James H. Aldridge III; her sister, Marie Colvin; her brother, Jessie Stevenson and his wife, Virginia; her grandchildren, Jeremy McDonald, Obafunso Gaidi, Adebiyi Gaidi and Esunike Gaidi; her nephew, Will Lennette; her nieces, Janell Colvin and LaTonya Stevenson. Mary was an avid reader and enjoyed arts and crafts and tending to her plants. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:30 P.M. on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Fortress Church, located at 7760 Prue Road, San Antonio, Texas 78209. Family and friends are invited. A repast will follow at the church. Our family will like to formally recognize Matthew Kraus and the Alvarez family for being such a tremendous blessing to Mary and to us.
