Maria Louise Bossin

Maria Louise Bossin, aged 82, died peacefully on December 14, 2016 as a resident of Emerald Private Care home in San Antonio, Texas.  Maria was born March 25, 1934, in Mannheim, Germany, the daughter of Josef and Frieda Retzer.Maria thoroughly enjoyed athletics to include bowling, tennis, swimming, jogging and most of all dancing. She attended high school in Mannheim, Germany.  She also attended PSA Airline school in Los Angeles and took classes in the Southern California Regional Occupational Center and College of the Desert in California.  In 1978, Maria married the love of her life, Mr David Bossin, a Hyster Lift truck salesman.  They lived in Palm Desert, California until his death in August of 1998.  Maria worked as an auditor for a gas and oil company and as a book keeper for Lane Bryant but her true love and skill set was in the sales arena where she excelled in representing exclusive makeup and clothing retailers.  She was a beautiful women who carried herself in a poised and professional manner.She had four sons and seven grandchildren. Maria is survived by her sons, Walter and Robert Matheson of Columbia, South Carolina and Ted Rogers of San Antonio, Texas  and a number of close friends. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Leo Patrick Walsh.The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her last illness. A private service was held in her honor and to celebrate her life on 27 December in San Antonio Texas.  She will be buried with her husband in Riverside, California at the National Cemetery.
