Maria Elena Martinez

Maria Elena Martinez, 81, passed away peacefully in her sleep and was welcomed into Heaven on January 7, 2013. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, and friend. Elena will be sorely missed by all those who loved her. She was born August 26, 1931 in Kingsville, Texas. Elena was a homemaker who was always concerned for others. Survivors include her daughters, Graciela Herrera; Maria Elena Martinez; Melinda Tokmehdash (Davood); and Delia Willborn (Anthony); sons, Rolando (Alma); Robert (Imelda); and Mark (Lisa); daughter-in-law, Irene Martinez; grandchildren, Amanda Martinez; Mark Martinez Jr.; Sarah Martinez; Jacob Martinez; Marielena Martinez; Christopher Willborn; Leilah Tokmehdash; Adrianna Martinez; Marissa Willborn; Olivia Martinez; Ahsad Tokmehdash; Andrew Martinez; Roland Willborn; and Robert Martinez; sisters, Elsa Ytuarte and Erlinda Canales; brothers, Jose Angel Enriquez, Emilio Enriquez, and Robert Enriquez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro B. Martinez; son, Pedro E. Martinez; mother, Maria Z. Enriquez; and sister, Eloisa Suarez. Service Visitation is Wednesday January 9, 2013 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with Holy Rosary at 7:00 pm at Puente Sons-Northeast (14315 Judson Rd. San Antonio, Tx 78233). Funeral procession will depart Puente Sons at 9:30 am Thursday January 10, 2013 for a 10:00 am funeral Mass at St. John Berchmans Catholic Church. Interment will follow to San Pedro Cemetery in Poteet, Tx
