Margaret K. Ytuarte being surrounded by her family, was called home on February 21st, 2022 in San Antonio TX at the age of 57 after a long 12-year battle with breast cancer. She is preceded in death by her parents Dolores & Rodolfo Ytuarte, her husband Roy Guzman and her niece Priscilla Lopez. She is survived by her daughters, Valerie Guzman and Savannah Paz, her son Jonathan Guzman, her grandchildren Jonathan Guzman Jr., Malachi Guzman and Roy Guzman, her sisters Maria Elena Martinez, Rosa Barrientes, Rosario Lopez, Martha Edwards, Dora Salmon, her brother Angel Ytuarte, as well as many nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly. When Margie was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer, it devastated us all. But she was strong, and she was a fighter, and so she fought this battle and she won as we all expected her to. Not once, but twice. However, this disease has no mercy and came back with a vengeance, and she finally succumbed to its overpowering force to take her from our lives. She was a strong advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness, and we hope that any who reads this will share her story and continue to advocate in her name. Margie loved her family with her whole heart and would do anything for any one of them. And especially the one who never left her side, her dog Bella. She will be missed and treasured by them all.
