It is with profound sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Marcos J. Morin, a devoted husband, beloved son and brother, and cherished friend, who left us far too soon on April 26th, 2026, in San Antonio, TX, at the age of 54.
Marcos was born on September 5th, 1971, in Westminster, CA, to Maria Aida and George Morin. He graduated from McCollum High School, Class of 1989. In 1992, he married his beloved wife, Griselda, and together they shared 33 years of love, partnership, and memories. Marcos was a deeply devoted husband and a true friend to so many. He had a gift for making people laugh with his quick wit and signature sarcasm. He loved music and movies and seemed to speak fluently in movie quotes. He was also a die- hard Raider's fan who looked forward to cheering on his team any given Sunday.
Marcos was a loyal and loving husband and a steadfast friend. He was a Godparent to many children and a father figure to countless nieces and nephews, offering love, guidance, and laughter that will be remembered always.
He is survived by his wife, Griselda Espitia Morin; his mother, Maria Aida Gongora (David); his sisters, Marisa Ramirez and Mariana Saucedo; and many beloved extended family members and dear friends who will carry his memory in their hearts. He is preceded in death by his father, George Morin; his brother-in-law, Michael X Ramirez; and his beloved dog, Georgie.
Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Marcos are invited to join together to honor, remember, and celebrate his life on Friday, May 15th, 2026.
