Lupe Ramirez

April 21, 1938 — May 25, 2025

San Antonio

Lupe Ramirez, a beloved son of San Antonio, Texas, was born on April 21, 1938. He peacefully departed this world on May 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Lupe's journey through life was characterized by his unwavering pride in serving his country in the United States Air Force. This dedication shaped not only his character but also his perspective on life, instilling in him the values of discipline, honor, and commitment that he carried with him throughout his years.

Lupe was known for his infectious love for music, particularly the Oldies, which resonated through his home and gatherings. He had a special place in his heart for football and basketball, often seen cheering for his favorite teams with a fervor that brought those around him joy. His passions were not just pastimes; they were threads that wove together the fabric of family traditions and memories shared with loved ones.

He leaves behind a devoted family who will carry his spirit forward: his cherished wife, Magdalena Lopez; their sons, Benjamin (Christy), Steven, and William Lopez; their daughter, Corrina Ramirez; and his beloved sister, Nelda. The joy of his life also sprung from his grandchildren, Steve Jr. Ramirez and Sarah Lopez, who were the apples of his eye. Though he leaves a profound void, the love and lessons he imparted will forever remain in their hearts.

Lupe is preceded in death by his dear siblings: his sisters Virginia Ramirez, and brothers Joe, Jesse, and Robert Ramirez. Though they are no longer physically present, the bonds formed in life continue to echo in the stories handed down through generations.
