Lolita Dolores Aguon Taitano

Lolita (Laling) Dolores Aguon Taitano, born on April 1, 1941, in Barrigada, Guam, passed away peacefully at home on February 4, 2026, in San Antonio Texas. She was a beacon of love and selflessness, known for her deep religious faith and her unwavering dedication to her family.

Laling’s heart radiated warmth and caring. She had an extraordinary ability to nurture those around her. A wonderful baker, she delighted family and friends alike with her homemade sweet creations. Her joy was extended to sewing, canning, traveling, reading and gardening.

She leaves behind her loving sons, Rodney, James (Karen) and her daughter Loriann (Jamaal). Her legacy of grandchildren: James Ryan, Joey, Celia, Devon, Kalani, Benny, Brianna and Sarenna, who will forever hold her memory dear. Laling joins her beloved husband, Jose Taitano, in eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her son, Ivan , along with her father, Vincente "Ben" Cruz, her mother, Dolores Aguon, and her brother Danny (Grace).

Surviving her are her sister, Teresita (Jose); brother, David (Emma); and sister, Remedios, together with her loving extended family and friends in Guam and across the globe.

Laling will be remembered with love and gratitude for the light she brought into the lives of everyone who knew her. Her memory and spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on February 16, 2026, from 2:00-3:00 PM CST, with a service from 3:00-4:00 PM CST at Northeast - Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels, located at 14315 Judson Rd, San Antonio, TX 78233.
