Linda Archer Guzman, a dedicated nurse and beloved community member, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2026, in Universal City, Texas, at the age of 78. Born on September 17, 1947, in San Antonio, Linda was known for her compassionate spirit, unwavering loyalty, and her ability to connect with everyone she encountered—truly, she never met a stranger.
Throughout her career as a nurse, Linda demonstrated remarkable dedication to her patients, offering care that was not only skilled but also infused with warmth and empathy. Her colleagues admired her commitment to her profession and her ability to make challenging days a little brighter for those in her care.
Outside of her nursing work, Linda was renowned among family and friends as the best chef. Her culinary talents brought people together and created cherished memories around the dinner table. Linda's home was often buzzing with the love of those she welcomed, as her kitchen became a gathering place for laughter, stories, and delicious meals.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Juan Guzman Sr., with whom she shared 26 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a life that exemplified love, mutual respect, and partnership.
Linda is also survived by her amazing children Greg (Kelly), Christie (Mark), Rebecca (Alex), Christopher (Desiree); son in law William; stepdaughters Sasha and Tonya. Grandchildren: Courtney, Shelbie, Austin, Brooklyn, Devin, Gavin, Nathan, Bodie, Denver, Alex, Emily, Max, Ethan, Jameson, Kylie, Baine, Copper, Chloe, Colton, and Carter. Numerous great grandchildren and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Mitchell, her father, James Murphy, her daughter Michelle all of whom remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved Linda.
Linda Archer Guzman leaves behind a legacy of kindness, professionalism, and a profound impact on all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed and warmly remembered by her family, friends, and the many lives she touched during her time on this earth.
