Linda Michelle Ferdin

Michelle Ferdin passed away peacefully on September 26, 2025, at the age of 49. Born on April 12, 1976, Michelle brought a vibrant energy and a truly generous spirit to the lives of all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed, especially for her boisterous, infectious laughter that could light up any room.

Michelle had a deep passion for life and an incredible talent for crafts that resulted in beautiful, tangible expressions of her love. Her artistic creations were diverse and impressive: she made spectacular, gourmet cakes—each one a work of art—delicate jewelry and rosaries, and elaborate seasonal wreaths. She also delighted in the meticulous detail of crochet and knitting.

A true San Antonian at heart, Michelle was a loyal and passionate San Antonio Spurs fan. Her favorite player was the legendary Tim Duncan, a love she carried with her through every game and every season.

Michelle’s memory will be forever held close by her loving family, including her sister, Grace Hurtado, and her brother-in-law, Eddie Hurtado. She also leaves behind her devoted boyfriend, Steven Fisher, who shared in her joyful spirit.

Michelle was preceded in death by her loving mother, Carmen Olivarez, and her beloved stepfather, Francisco Olivarez.

Michelle’s warmth, creativity, and the joy she spread will remain a comforting memory for all her friends and family.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, located at 16075 N. Evans Rd., Selma, TX 78154.
