Lamar Mondell Thomas

April 1, 1968 — February 24, 2022

In loving memory of Lamar Mondell Thomas, a beautiful man with a beautiful heart & soul. Remembering all the love, laughter, companionship, and his bright beautiful smile.

Lamar Thomas, 53, regretfully passed on February 24, 2022, after a fierce battle with Covid pneumonia and kidney failure. He leaves behind his wife Shella Stephens-Thomas and his children Jamar Mondell Thomas, Janeva Michelle Thomas, Jeremy Earl Cole, and Jenay Ruth Antoinette Cole who all loved him dearly.

Lamar was born to Emma Odessa Pace and Louis Moses Thomas on April 1st, 1968, in Los Angeles, California. He is survived by his brother Rodney Thomas and his two sisters Deborah Wesley, and Simone Bruce.

Lamar M. Thomas was a force of nature who was determined to provide for his family and make sure they had the best life could offer. His entire family meant more to him than anything else in the world, something he often mentioned. He was unendingly proud of his children and his Wife and always tried his best to support them. Lamar was fun-loving and passionate about living.

He was a Collector of Godzilla and marvel heroes, loved fishing, was a connoisseur of food and music and was an awesome cook. He’d often be watching his favorite sitcom shows and playing games. Lamar was the ultimate kid at heart who enjoyed laughter and life. Anyone who knew him knew he was an opinionated man who had a lot to say and a big heart. He was deeply loved and will be sorely missed. Rest in peace.
