Listen to Obituary

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother, Kay Elizabeth Price, who entered her eternal rest on November 17, 2025. Her departure leaves a deep void in our hearts, yet we take comfort in knowing she is now at peace in the presence of the God she loved so faithfully.

Born on July 2, 1946, Kay Elizabeth Price lived a life guided by faith, compassion, and purpose. Her devotion to God shaped every aspect of her journey, and she carried that faith with grace through both joys and challenges. Those who knew her will remember her steadfast spirit, gentle wisdom, and the comfort she offered through her prayers and encouraging words.

Her greatest joys were her family—her children and grandchildren—whom she loved with immeasurable devotion. She found purpose in guiding, supporting, and cherishing them, and her presence brought strength and unity to all who gathered around her. Her legacy lives on in the values she instilled and the love she freely gave. Each of her children and grandchildren were prayed over daily. She selflessly gave her time and devotion to them, always knowing that the words and actions she showed would be written on their hearts and carried to the next generations. She shared her love of God with them and, through her actions, solidified God’s grace. Kay always knew that the Lord would take care of her and wanted everyone to see that through her testimony. Faced with many adversities in life, moments that others would give up, she looked steadily on God’s promises through His word and knew he was the God of truth.

Kay Elizabeth Price was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Edwin Calhoun; her mother, Ione Jimmy Calhoun; husband, Daniel Floyd Price; her father-in-law, Floyd Harry Price; and her mother-in-law, Edith Odell Price.

She has survived by her son, Daniel Keith Price, wife Mevis Yadira Sabillon Santos Price, sons Nelson Enrique Caminero and Nicholas Sean Price, wife Kelly Price, and her daughter, Kristie Leigh Wright, husband Patrick Shawn Wright, and children, Jacob Ryan Price and Kaylee Lauren Wright, her sister Barbara Ann Finley, husband Robert Eugene Finley, her sister MarcelDenise Johnson, husband Timothy Johnson, and her brother Clarence Edward Calhoun and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

May her memory be a blessing, and may her faith continue to guide those who loved her.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that individuals donate to the Myleodysplastic Syndrome Foundation.
