Ms. Karen F. Courtney passed peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the age of 56. She is preceded in death by her husband of 31 years Robert Willis; her brothers Jim Courtney Jr. and Gary Courtney. She is survived by her daughter Kelsi Willis, her mother Margaret Courtney, brothers Jerry Courtney and Mark Courtney, and sister Kathy Kinard.

She found great joy in providing for and being needed by others. Though she could be tough in her ways, she made people around her better, always trying to go above and beyond. She has a successful career as a Histologist. In her spare time, she was a game show queen and could solve a Wheel of Fortune Puzzle faster than most. She also very much loved her furry companions Harley and Ki.
