Juan "Johnny" Viera, Jr. was born on December 11, 1969, in San Antonio, Texas. He entered eternal rest on July 27, 2025, leaving behind a legacy enriched with laughter, music, and cherished memories. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Jose Viera and Sylvia T. Castaño as well as his brother, Joe Anthony Viera, his grandparents, and many other loved ones.
He is survived by his loving siblings: Cheryl (Alfred) Montoya, Benjamin Viera, and Susan Viera (Chris) Rodriguez, who carry forward the warmth of his spirit in their hearts. His cherished nephews and nieces, John, Joe Jr., Celestina, Alina, Elisabeth, and Kristin, fondly remember him for his playful nature and his unwavering support. Additionally, his grandnieces and grandnephew, Eve, Robert, and Azalea, will forever hold dear the joyful moments shared with their beloved Uncle Johnny.
Johnny's vibrant spirit was evident in all aspects of his life. Known as the life of the party, he had an extraordinary ability to light up a room with his humor, always ready with a joke or a contagious laugh. His love for music and dancing brought joy not only to himself but also to all those fortunate enough to share in the moments of celebration. He had a passion for playing pool, where his friendly competitiveness often led to memorable gatherings with family and friends. The void left by his passing is deeply felt by all who knew him, yet his memory will be celebrated through the laughter and love he imparted throughout his life.
