Juan G. Vargas, 55, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Juan was born on February 19, 1971, in Laredo- Texas, Son of Raul and Beatriz Vargas. He was the beloved husband of Margarita Sosa-Servin, devoted father of Kayla and Vanessa Vargas, and proud grandfather of his only granddaughter, Marilyn Walker.

Juan was a dedicated employee of Bimbo Bakeries for 21 years. Anyone who crossed paths with Juan knew how passionate he was about his work. He took great pride in what he did and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.

Outside of work, Juan enjoyed spending time with his family, loved being at the grill, and especially loved his hormigas (Budweiser). Juan was known for being the life of the party with his loud and boisterous laugh. One of his favorite things to do was take his wife on their “Sunday cruises,” driving through different neighborhoods, listening to his favorite music, and simply enjoying their time together.

Above all, Juan was a devoted husband and father. He taught his two daughters the value of hard work, integrity, and the importance of always speaking your mind and standing up for what you believe is right. He was a man who never held back when something needed to be said, and those lessons will remain with his family for years to come.

Juan shared 13 loving years of marriage with his wife, Margarita. He took great pride in being a husband who provided for his wife.

Juan will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will live on through the lessons he taught, the love he gave, and the family he cherished above all else.
