She had an innate ability to make everyone feel seen and loved. Joy's warm smile and kind words had a way of brightening even the cloudiest of days.

In her free time, Joy pursued her passions with great enthusiasm. She had an affinity for Vera Bradley accessories and could often be spotted sporting colorful patterns that reflected her joyful spirit. The outdoors held a special place in her heart; whether it was soaking up the sun on the beach or embarking on adventurous road trips, Joy found solace in nature's embrace. She also had a keen eye for fashion and enjoyed indulging in shopping sprees that brought her much delight.

Joy was deeply devoted to her family and cherished every moment spent with them. She was blessed to share her life with Herman Buckley as her loving husband. Together they created countless memories filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support for one another.

Left to honor Joy's memory are her beloved father, Rickey Jackson, and step-mother Kathy Jackson; her mother, Kerry Hammit, and step-father Roy Hammit. Joy's sisters Jennifer (Tom), Tricia (James) and Tara were not just family but also her closest confidants. The nieces and nephews she adored and doted on include Hailey, Carlie (Preston), Caleb (Destiny), Kali, Kingston, Lafayette, Savanah, and Laramie.

Joy's vibrant spirit has been reunited with her loved ones who passed before her. She joins her grandparents Buddy and Elaine Delosh along with Brown and Gussie Jackson in eternal peace.
