With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of John Anthony Rodriguez, who left us far too soon on June 25, 2026 in his beloved hometown of San Antonio. Born on August 3, 1990 in San Antonio, John’s life, while not long in years, was abundant in love, laughter, and unforgettable moments that touched all who knew him.

John’s spirit was one of generosity and warmth, making a difference in the lives of countless family members and friends.

John was a talented mechanic who loved the thrill of a poker hand and the satisfaction of restoring a classic car. Above all else, his proudest achievement and greatest joy was his children. He dedicated his life to being the best father he could be, loving them fiercely and teaching them by example. His presence will be deeply missed, but his devotion to his family will never be forgotten.

John is survived by his cherished wife, Stephanie Rodriguez, who stood by his side through every joy and trial that life brought their way. Together, they built a loving home filled with support, fun, and profound devotion. His love will forever echo in the hearts of his children—Aaron, Joel, and Daisy—who were the pride and light of his days. To them, John was more than a father; he was a mentor, a friend, and a hero.

He is also survived by his brother, Andrew, who shared in a lifetime of memories, brotherly love, and laughter, and his cousins, Christina and Alvino, and numerous family members whose close bond and companionship John cherished deeply.

John’s presence will be dearly missed, but we take comfort in the thought that he is reunited with his beloved parents, Mark and Lucy Rodriguez, whose love shaped him into the man he became. He now also rests alongside his uncle Rodney and aunt Alice, both of whom held a special place in his heart.

Although words alone cannot measure the depth of grief we feel at John’s passing, nor the breadth of the void left in our lives, we choose to remember the joy and light he brought into this world. John’s legacy of kindness, steadfastness, and love will continue to inspire all those who were privileged to know him.

Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor John’s life at a visitation on July 7, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at South - Puente & Sons Funeral Chapels, located at 3520 S Flores St, San Antonio, TX 78204.

As we lay John Anthony Rodriguez to rest, we carry his memory with tenderness and gratitude. His story lives on in the laughter, love, and strength he instilled in those who survive him, and his absence will be felt always. We mourn his passing, but above all, we celebrate his remarkable life.
