Jesse Castellanos, a devoted son, husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully in San Antonio, Texas on May 3, 2025, at the age of 63. Born on August 27, 1961, in Del Rio, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wenceslao Castellanos, Sr. and Olivia Villarreal Castellanos, his brother, Wenceslao Castellanos, his sister, Alicia Zuniga, and his nephew, Reggie Zuniga.
Jesse is survived by his beloved wife of 34 years, Corina Castellanos, and their cherished son, Angel Castellanos. Jesse's memory will also live on through his loving sisters, Cecilia Padilla (Albert), Romelia Rubio, and Norma Rodriguez, as well as his many nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Jesse was a man whose faith and compassion shaped every aspect of his life. Known for his selflessness and heartfelt generosity, he had an incredible gift for making everyone feel seen, welcomed, and valued. Whether it was offering a helping hand or simply sharing a smile, Jesse lived by the principle that kindness and humility are the truest measures of a life well lived.
He found joy in life's simple pleasures-spending time outdoors hunting and fishing, playing a round of golf, or cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. Music was a constant presence in his life; he especially loved the sounds of George Strait, Tejano, and Country, which often filled his home and gatherings with warmth and joy. A family man through and through, Jesse took great pleasure in weekend barbecues, bringing loved ones together in laughter, conversation, and love.
Jesse's passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Yet, his spirit endures-in every act of kindness, every shared smile, and every memory of time spent together. His legacy of warmth, generosity, and unwavering love will continue to guide and inspire all who were fortunate enough to be part of his life.
A celebration of life will be conducted at a later date. Please check our website for an update.
