Jesse S. Jimenez, a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished member of his community, entered eternal rest Wednesday April 8, 2026 surrounded by the love of his family.

Jesse was born to Amelia Alvarado and Jesus F. Jimenez and was raised on the West Side of San Antonio, Texas. He was a proud graduate of Memorial High School, where he formed lifelong friendships and memories that he carried with him throughout his life. Jesse married his high school sweetheart, Carrie Jimenez, and together they shared 45 beautiful years of marriage. Their love was a true testament to commitment, partnership, and devotion. Together, they built a strong foundation rooted in love, faith, and family. He was a dedicated father to his son, Jacob Jimenez, and his daughter, Angela Rios, who were the center of his world.

Jesse was also a proud grandfather to four grandchildren Camila Jimenez, Francesca Jimenez, John Rios, and Damari Rios who brought him immense joy and pride. He is also lovingly remembered by his five brothers and three sisters, along with many extended family members.

In his younger years, Jesse was actively involved in a social club and had a deep love for dancing. He enjoyed jamming out to oldies, often filling his home with music, laughter, and good times. He had a vibrant spirit and a natural ability to bring people together. He was known for hosting family barbecues, opening his home to loved ones, and creating lasting memories. Jesse had a one-of-a-kind sense of humor and was known for his quick wit, playful teasing, and perfectly timed jokes. 

Jesse was more than just a father to his own children he was a father figure to many of his nieces and nephews. He made it a point to spend time with them, taking them to parks and on adventures, leaving a lasting impact on their lives and childhoods. A hardworking man, Jesse dedicated himself to providing for his family. He was strong in his Catholic faith serving in the Knights of Columbus which guided his values, his kindness, and his commitment to others. 

Jesse is survived by his beloved wife, Carrie Rita Jimenez; his son, Jacob Jimenez, and daughter-in-law, Veronica Jimenez; his daughter, Angela Rios, and son-in-law, Juan Carlos Rios; and his cherished grandchildren, Camila Jimenez, Francesca Jimenez, John Carlos Rios, and Damari Rios. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Reynaldo Jimenez, Johnnie Jimenez, David Jimenez, Guadalupe Avila, Rosemary Pargas, Margarito Jimenez, Francis Saldivar, and Santiago Alvarado, along with many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him. 

Jesse is now reunited in heaven with his parents, Amelia Alvarado and Jesus F. Jimenez. Jesse Jimenez will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his generosity, his faith, and the laughter he brought to those around him. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the memories that will be cherished forever.
