Jesus Oviedo Jr.

Jesus (Jesse) Oviedo, Jr., age 89, of San Antonio, TX. Born April 8,1936, passed away on May 6, 2025, at home.

He was the son of Jesus Oviedo, Sr., and Carolina Arredondo. A former Marine and served in the Korean War. A Civil servant served as a Chairman of the City Zoning Commission, Directorship for the San Antonio River Authority, American GI Forum, and a trustee of the Harlandale School District. Retired from Kelly Air Force Base.

He is preceded by his parents and his brother Enrique Oviedo.

He is survived by his wife, Victoria Lee Cross; his three sons and one daughter. Mike Oviedo wife Diann, David Oviedo wife Elodia, Charlie Oviedo wife Teresa, Nancy Oviedo Pattillo husband Robert. One stepson, Ryan Manning. Seven Grandchildren: Joshua Oviedo, Benjamin Oviedo, Jeremiah Hobbs, Reyes Oviedo, Caleb Hobbs, Domino Oviedo Bancroft, Jocelyn Oviedo.  Seven great grandchildren. Three brothers: Richard Oviedo wife Mary, Gilbert Oviedo wife Iola, Edward Oviedo wife Yolanda. Many cousins, nephews, and nieces.
