Jane E. Rakosky

Jane Ellen Rakosky, 92, finished her life's journey on February 25, 2015. The last of eleven siblings, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband Harry, daughter Rita, and granddaughter Rita Marie. Left behind to cherish her memory are daughter Ellen and sons Joseph, Charles, Harry and Frederick, along with nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A devout Catholic and devoted mother-figure to family and friends, Mom was a constant encouragement to those whose lives she touched. Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, followed by interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant House at www.covenanthouse.org.
