James Nuten Courtney

James Nuten Courtney Jr., or Jim as most knew him, age 62, went on home November 6, 2014. He was born October 31, 1952, and is survived by his wife Donna Courtney, son James Nuten Courtney III, daughters Kimberly and Kayla Courtney, granddaughter Emerson Courtney, his mother Margaret Courtney, sisters Karen Courtney and Kathy Kinard, and brothers Jerry and Mark Courtney. We ask that everyone who knew this wonderful man, remember his life as a shining example of selflessness, love, compassion and joy. While Jim may have completed his great transition, we are left to pursue this world with, hopefully, the same wide-eyed curiosity and patience that he taught us. Never miss a fishing trip or a ball game, never miss a chance to forgive and never let love go unspoken.
