James Allen Powell
January 4, 1937 — March 3, 2012
James A. Powell went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the age of 75. James was born January 4, 1937 in Trinity County, TX. He is survived by his wife, Eva Powell, son Gary Powell, daughters Debra Richardson and Melissa Patterson; brother Kenneth Powell and sister Helen Eggick. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, March 12, 2012 at 5:00 pm at Puente Sons Funeral Home, 14315 Judson Rd, with a prayer service at 6:30 pm.
A chapel service will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. A procession will be departing the funeral home at 2:00 pm for Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery for a 2:30 pm graveside service.
