Listen to Obituary

With hearts intertwined in love and remembrance, we bid farewell to Isidra Garza Zamano, whose luminous spirit graced this world from May 20, 1979, until her peaceful departure on August 16, 2026. Isidra's journey was marked by passion, vivacity, and a palpable devotion to family—her legacy resounding in the lives she touched and the laughter that lingers where she once stood.

Isidra’s days were filled with the harmony of music, the joy of dancing, and the unending pleasure she found in spending time with her beloved family. The warmth of her kitchen was a reflection of her generous soul, as she cooked not merely to nourish but to gather loved ones together, weaving precious memories into every meal. Isidra delighted in every moment she shared with her grandchildren, embracing her role as a grandmother with unrivaled affection and pride. Her zest for life was contagious; she found delight in dressing up, venturing out, and cherishing the simple – and not-so-simple – pleasures that gave her days their unique sparkle. Ever a fan of Mickey Mouse, she added whimsical joy to even the most ordinary of hours.

Those who truly knew Isidra will recall her vibrant and strong-willed nature. She carried herself with confidence, unafraid to be bossy when it mattered, and relished the moments when her convictions rang true. Her assertiveness was not without kindness; it was an expression of deep care—a testament to her commitment to those whom she held dear.

Isidra’s greatest legacy remains her family. She is survived by her devoted sons: Juan Andres Zuniga, Omar G. Zamano, Uziel A. Zamano, Timothy Ray Garcia, and Jacen Zamano & bonus child Savannah Lopez, each a living testament to her enduring love and guidance. Her siblings; Neives Garcia, Rebecca Garza, Miguel Enriquez, Antonia Perez. Her beloved grandchildren, Malikai, Giovanni, and Vanellope, along with little Iliana who is on the way, carry forward her vibrant spirit and boundless affection.

She now joins in eternal rest her dearly missed husband, Santos Zamano, and her step-father, Abraham Toscano. Their memories remain interwoven with hers—threads that bind together the generations they helped shape.
