Irma is survived by the father of thier children Ricardo Gomez; and was a devoted mother to her four children: John Michael Gomez, Ricardo "Ricky" Gomez, Jr., Yvette Garza, and Yvonne Puente and her husband A.J. Puente, who shared her zest for life and her love for family. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: John Michael Gomez, John Luke Gomez, Ashley (Brian) Olson, Luis Garza, Matthew Gomez, A.J. Puente IV, Amanda Gomez, Paris (Isabella) Puente, and Lukas Garza. Irma's heart was further warmed by her two great-grandchildren, Mila Gomez and Nathan Olson.
Throughout her life, Irma cherished her close relationships with her siblings. She is survived by her sister, Dora Gonzalez, and her brother, Ike Perez. Irma also had a strong bond with her daughter-in-law, Alma Delgado, who became an integral part of the family.
Irma had a passion for various hobbies that brought her joy and fulfillment. She was a dedicated fan of the San Antonio Spurs, always ready to cheer them on from her favorite spot in the living room. Her love for sports extended to tennis, where she enjoyed watching matches and celebrating the athletes' extraordinary talents. Irma found treasure in exploring thrift stores, where she could uncover unique items and stories hidden within each find. Additionally, playing Bingo was a beloved pastime, where she not only enjoyed the thrill of the game but also the camaraderie it fostered among friends.
Irma is preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Perez, who holds a special place in the hearts of those who remember him.
Irma Perez Gomez leaves behind a rich legacy filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories that will resonate through the lives of her family and friends. Her indomitable spirit and dedication to those she loved will forever be a guiding light for all who knew her.
