Irene Alvarado Garcia, a beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on August 9, 1962, Irene's life was marked by her unwavering love for her family and her jovial spirit.
Irene had a remarkable ability to draw joy from the simple pleasures in life. She cherished the moments spent with her loving husband, Juan A. Garcia, her sisters, Maria Alvarado Alfaro, Esperanza Alvarado, and San Juanita Garcia, and her brothers, Noel Alvarado and Agapito Alvarado. The bond she shared with her nieces, Emelia Valasquez and Destiny Martinez, her goddaughter, as well as her nephews, Alfonso Macias Jr. and Felix Garcia Jr., her godson, filled her heart with immense pride and joy. She took great delight in taking care of them, often finding the happiest moments in being present at family gatherings, sharing laughter, and creating lasting memories.
A talented cook, Irene's delicious meals were a highlight for family and friends alike. Her kitchen was often filled with warmth and love, making every gathering an occasion to remember. Beyond her culinary skills, Irene also had a deep passion for fishing, sewing, and trying her luck at casinos or enjoying a game of bingo. These hobbies provided her with numerous joyful experiences throughout her life.
Irene was also a devoted pet owner, loving her fur babies-Nina, Canelo, and Minnie Star-whose antics and companionship brought her endless happiness.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rodolfo and Francisca Alvarado, and her sisters, Corina and Diana. Irene's departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, yet her spirit will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
Irene Alvarado Garcia will be fondly remembered for her nurturing nature, her zest for life, and the joy she brought to those around her. Her legacy of love will endure through the lives she touched.
