Herlinda Trigo, born on September 15, 1967, in San Antonio, passed away on January 11, 2026. Her life was a beautiful tapestry of warmth, spirit, and love, which touched the lives of many, especially her beloved family.
Herlinda was an open spirit who cherished her grandchildren dearly. She took immense joy in nurturing their smiles and being present for every moment, big and small. Her kitchen was a haven where the love was rolled into each tortilla she cooked, and gathering with family was not just a pastime but a celebration of togetherness. Her home was filled with laughter, stories, and the aroma of her culinary delights that created lasting memories for all who entered.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Hector Huerta, who stood by her side through every journey. Her legacy continues in her devoted daughters, Stephanie Trigo Villarreal, Genevieve Ann Marquez, and Roxanne Marie Garza, who have inherited her grace and passion for life. Each of her grandchildren—Angel, Beatrice, Anthony, Alexis, Aubriella, JoeAnthony, Ruben, Ayden, and Addyson—will carry forward the warmth of her affection and the lessons she instilled.
Herlinda is survived by her sisters, Yolanda Trigo and Gloria Compian, who shared many cherished moments and memories with her throughout the years.
She now reunites with her late father, Emilio Trigo, and her late mother, Mercedes Rodriguez, who welcome her with open arms.
Herlinda Trigo's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved, and though she may no longer walk among us, her influence and love will continue to echo through the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
